Yes……and No.  In an article by Dr. Robert Corrigan found on the Texas Mosquito Control Association website,  he talks about species of bats and what they consume and sites a study he did on bat eating habits.   The article concludes that even if a bat colony consumes thousands upon thousands of mosquitoes a night, when compared to the total population that is numbered in the millions the bats contribution to the reduction of mosquitoes is not that significant.   Please follow this link to read the full article.
