It’s the middle of summer, when mosquito activities are in their prime. Now there’s not a whole lot you can do to avoid getting bit when mosquitos are around, unless you call upon the Mosquito Squad to get rid of them . But this post is meant to inform you about some of the most common ways to get bit by a mosquito that you didn’t really think about (courtesy of http://insects.about.com/od/flies/a/how-to-get-mosquito-bites.htm).
1. Breathing – Mosquitos tend to be attracted to carbon dioxide, so breathing heavily is one really common and quick way to attract mosquitos.
2. Body Odor – The deadly combination of sweating and not showering could make you an easy target for mosquito bites. Don’t just slap on some deodorant or cologne to cover up that smell, take the time to shower and get rid of that smell to help not attract any mosquitos.
3. Wear light colors – Mosquitos tend to be attracted to dark colored clothing. If possible try to wear very light colored clothing to help avoid getting any more mosquito bites.
4. Dirty Socks – I talked about mosquitos being attracted to body odor, but they are even more attracted to specifically dirty-smelly socks! Remember not only to shower but to also change/wash your clothes, it’s called good personal hygiene and it can also help you from getting further attacked by mosquitos.
5. Drinking Beer – It has been studied that mosquitos tend to hang around people who drink beer outdoors. Although the beer may be refreshing, it could also cause you to attract more mosquitos than you like.

Very interesting article. I know about light color wears, that attract insects
